Autumn has arrived which means the end of summer - of a heat wave in Spain and longing for a cooling breeze. An end and a new beginning. I am now planning my autumn days with less mist and more mellow fruitfulness.
In August, I wrote my two favourite words THE END of my next novel - The Ties That Bind - at least the end of the first draft, which is also the beginning of editing.
It is a cycle of endings and beginnings and so I have started to work on the next book in the Spanish trilogy - The Water Man - which I researched in Spain this summer. I will begin the first draft in November (NaNoWriMo)
I have a packed Autumn programme which centres around Write Your Life and Introduction to Self Publishing. Working on a lovely project with Spread The Word and more library workshops in London. Details to follow.
